KIDS' SHIELD SERVICES Inc. was founded in 2019 by Dr. Aliabadi who conducted her  PhD thesis in the area of Cyber-Physical System security at the University of British Columbia’s ECE and Shahid Beheshti University's CS departments. She has over 10 years of international experience as a R&D engineer and IT project manager in the information and communication technology sector. She is passionate to utilize her knowledge towards making the internet a safer place for people, especially kids. She is currently a Post-doctoral Fellow at CS' Systopia lab, UBC. 

Mr. Sharifi serves as a COO and co-founder to KIDS' SHIELD SERVICES Inc. He brings a wealth of MBA knowledge and 20 years of experience with regards to strategy planning, business development and commercialization of companies. He is also specialized in managing Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) projects in Oil and Gas, and Government Services sectors. He is currently the vice president of ARVAND free-zone incorporation, and business consultant of OIEC international corporation.

Ashkan received his Master's degree in Cybersecurity from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), and Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (SUT) in 2021 and 2019, respectively. As an active member of the technology community, he has an extensive research experience through his undergraduate and graduate studies. As part of his current responsibilities, he provides R&D Machine Learning engineering and security expertise to the company. 

Jake is a marketing specialist with expertise in developing and implementing engaging marketing initiatives using visual storytelling techniques. With a background in graphic design and web development he has experience in all forms of digital and content marketing, from social media management to search engine optimization, analytics, and email marketing, as well as events coordination for implementing effective communication strategies  - all key to developing deep client relationships.

Jenna is a talented actor and teacher, raised in the prairies of Winnipeg, Manitoba. She graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre & Film and a Bachelor of Education. After moving to Vancouver to pursue her passions of acting and teaching, she has continued to thrive on stage and in the classroom, finding that the art of storytelling is a vital part of learning as it allows you to see the world through a creative lens.

Stacey's journey in visual storytelling began at Douglas College, where she excelled in theater production, particularly Scenic Painting and Costuming. Her passion for video production led her to a program at BCIT, honing her skills as an editor and filmmaker.In 2022, she joined TMH Canada as a video editor and producer, overseeing successful news segments. In 2023, she brought her creativity to KidsShield, serving as a video editor, social media manager, and content producer. Stacey's dedication to crafting meaningful stories makes her an invaluable asset to our team, aligning perfectly with KidsShield's mission.

 Masi is our Website Designer and Content Manager at Kids' Shield. With a master's degree in IT Resources Management and over 15 years of experience in ICT projects, Masi excels in research and IT content development.  Masi's strengths include team collaboration, effective communication, and efficient time management. Throughout her career, she's consistently delivered captivating and user-friendly online experiences. Her expertise extends to responsive web design and website management, all of which she brings to the table with dedication and a keen eye for innovation, making her a valuable member of the Kids' Shield team.

 Sina Norooznia is a game developer with over five years of experience in the industry and a strong foundation in Computer Science from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran. His main area of expertise is in creating captivating mobile games, especially those featuring intricate online multiplayer elements. He also possesses a thorough knowledge of backend development. A notable highlight of His career was contributing to a blockchain-based game, which presented a thrilling blend of blockchain technology and gaming. His passion extends to shader development, where He constantly seeks new methods to enhance game visuals. Committed to ongoing learning and improvement, His goal is to consistently deliver innovative and delightful experiences to gamers.

Hanieh achieved her Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) and her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Azad University of Tehran (North Branch). With over ten years of experience as a software quality assurance engineer, Hanieh’s commitment to continuous learning and exploration is unwavering. Her meticulous attention to detail, inquisitive nature, problem-solving mindset, and dedication to staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices guarantee that the course content she provides is cutting-edge and relevant. 

Scott Kramer brings over 20 years of experience protecting organizations and their customers in the Energy, Financial, Manufacturing, Communications and Government Services sectors. At Clio, Scott is the Director of Information Security responsible for building a world class security team and overseeing the implementation of solutions to position Clio as a leader in data privacy and protection across cloud software providers and the legal industry, as a whole. 

Emad Kebriaei is a highly skilled machine learning consultant with 7 years of experience in machine learning, natural language processing, and social networks. Emad also has 5 years of experience as a software developer, giving him a unique perspective on the intersection between software development and machine learning. With a PhD in software engineering from Tehran University, Emad is an expert in developing innovative and effective solutions. His particular area of interest is in developing complex models that can detect hate speech in multilingual space.

Dr Mojtaba Vahidi-Asl is an assistant professor at faculty of Computer Science and Engineering of Shahid Beheshti University. He founded game laboratory in 2014, which performs various research and industrial activities in game-related fields such as serious games, human-based computing, augmented reality, virtual reality, and gamification. He is currently a consultant to several gaming companies and is the deputy director of the University incubator.
